Louisa Djuric
Australian Artist | Mother | Explorer
It started with macaroni.
I have always been a creative soul, ever since I made my first macaroni art for the fridge door as a little girl. My dad is an artist, photographer, and my art mentor and was the first one to teach me how to draw. My love for art and creativity led me to be become an interior designer for over 10 years, but creating imaginative work with my hands was my first and strongest love.
I'm a wife and mother of three children so life is mostly organised chaos. I’ve always used painting as my downtime and as a form of relaxation and happiness. This is when you’ll find me in my “zen zone!"
My art is all about self expression, emotion and creativity. I paint intuitively and how I feel at the time. You will often find me dancing in between watercolour paints or acrylics and sometimes even both in mixed media art, whether it's on canvas or a larger than life mural. Exploring all the ingredients and sizes of art absolutely sets my soul on fire. I welcome you to explore what ignites you, whether that's a print in my shop or a custom commissioned piece all your own!
As my father once told me,
"The reality in art is stronger than the reality we know."
