How to Take High-Quality Pictures of Your Pet for a Portrait Painting

All I need is a high-quality reference photo or photos. The photos you send matter! The clearer the reference photo and the more detail given to me the more I can add.

Tips for the best picture:

- Natural lighting

- Eye level

- Avoid casting shadows or photos that are over or under exposed.

Once the size and style are agreed, I will send you an invoice for the deposit and provide you with an estimated commencement date. To secure your painting on my commission list, a 25% deposit is required. Prior to your start date I will touch base with you again and reconfirm design and colours.

Depending on your position on my commission list, your painting will usually commence 1 – 2 weeks from payment. Once completed and final payment has been received, your painting will be varnished and posted to you with full tracking details.

Remember — the better the photo, the better the end result!!

Below are a couple examples of reference photo vs. final painting.
